Skill game statement
Bounty Bay is a free-to-play game of skill. Outcomes are determined by players’ negotiation performance, measured against the mathematical surplus of each deal. Chance plays no role in match outcomes. Nothing of value is staked, deposited or wagered; no purchase is necessary; no consideration is required. The Service is therefore not a game of chance and is not gambling within the meaning of the Dutch Betting and Gaming Act (Wet op de kansspelen).
Tournaments and prizes
From time to time the organiser runs a tournament, for example for a group of students. Entry is always free and no purchase or payment is possible. Rankings follow the scoring rules shown on the tournament page (for instance the highest average share of the deal over your counted matches, with a minimum number of counted matches to be ranked). Any prize is a reward for demonstrated skill, awarded without consideration; it is paid out by the organiser outside the app after the final standings have been checked, and suspicious play is reviewed before anything is paid. Prizes announced on a tournament page apply to that tournament only. A prize is not a wager and is not the return of a bet.
No purchase necessary
Nothing in the Service is sold that affects gameplay or outcomes. There are no loot boxes, no wagering, no deposits, and no paid advantages.
